Bodhi Yoga is proud to announce a new self-empowering workshop series led by Amanda Lemming. The series will feature a combination of yoga practice, discussion & critical reflection, structured around the basic tenets outlined in the Vedanta Treatise by Swami Parthasarathy.
In this second session, we will continue to explore the Koshas—a five-layered approach to understanding and self-cultivation—and how developing a greater sense of self-awareness can alleviate and even transform stress into a renewed sense of purpose.
The first hour of class will consist of these discussions, followed by a relaxed, guided exercise in pranayama (breathing technique), meditation and a gentle practice utilizing props.
While each session’s discussion will build off the previous one, all classes in the series are designed to be modular or that you can take only a select class or two out of the series without feeling out of context or a diminished value. The other class dates are currently scheduled for August 3rd, October 5th and November 2nd, all from 12pm-2pm and of a similar format. More information will be posted at a later date.
$30 per class, or click here for $100 for all four classes in the series. 10% members’ discount applicable if purchased in studio.
