Starting in September, Bodhi Yoga will be hosting a recurring six-week yoga series for girls and young adults ages 13-18 years old.
Middle and high school students will learn practical life skills through the use of introspective yoga and mindfulness themes. Spooky Flow & Holiday Schedule

Join us for Spooky Flow at 6:00pm, a free community Slow Flow class open to the public. We will be accepting donations on behalf of C.A.R.E.S., an local organization dedicated to offering comprehensive support services for individuals and their families in and around the Farmington Hills area that are in need or have limited access to everyday necessities due to insufficient financial resources or family instability. Visit C.A.R.E.S. website to contribute.

All other classes, including LYB’s FUNdamentals series, will still be taught at their usual times. Enjoy the holiday!

Yin & Pins

The meeting of two ancient practices: yoga and acupuncture!

Join us for a 60 minute Yin yoga class focusing on opening the deepest levels of the body’s connective tissues, allowing for deep relaxation and a softening of the muscles. Class will be followed by savasana, or resting period, where an acupuncturist will visit each student to choose acupuncture points that assist with deepening your relaxation, balance the energies of the body and facilitate the body’s natural healing mechanisms. Space is limited to just ten students!

Evolution of Self Series - Integrity of Movement: Align body, mind, and spirit

The Philosophy of Self is a two hour workshop combining philosophical discussion focusing on the Vedanta tradition of yoga as it relates to how the Self is cleverly disguised as the working tools of your body, mind, and intellect. Yoga practice will, of course, be the other main component of this workshop. You will emerge with a deeper understanding of what is reality & untruth, valuable & invaluable; all of it leading to a renewed commitment to a more authentic life.

The FUNdamentals Series is a 6-week yoga program. The program will be taught every Thursday from 3:30pm-5pm starting on October 3rd, and ending on November 7th. The next series will be taught in January.

Holly Shay returns to host another session. Come celebrate the arrival of the Autumnal Equinox, a contemplative time in which we come to recognize the symmetry between dark and light as Mother Nature establishes equilibrium between night and day.
