As part of National Recovery Month, Bodhi Yoga is partnering with Taylor Hunt's Trini Foundation to host a donation drive class here at the studio in Farmington. The Trini Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the life-changing practice of Ashtanga yoga to those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. It's our mission to provide yoga as a tool to aide in the recovery process and help those who are suffering maintain long-term sobriety.
The primary series of Ashtanga yoga is a precise sequence of postures, linked together with vinyasa sequences. It is used as the daily yoga practice for yogis who practice Ashtanga yoga, the sequence of yoga as was taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India.
A minimum donation of $10 to the Trini Foundation made in studio is all that is required to attend this special class. You can also donate online through their website; just show the confirmation email at reception to attend.
