Spring is a time for both renewal and new growth. Welcome the Spring Equinox and the changing of the seasons with Bodhi Yoga’s first ever weekend retreat at the Howell Nature Center’s Lakeview Lodge. Revitalize your personal practice, reconnect with nature, rejuvenate body & mind, and bloom with new inspirations & renewed convictions.
The Howell Nature Center provides an ideal environment for meditation, contemplation, rest, and relaxation. This is a wonderful, sacred space where all students, both seasoned veterans and new practitioners alike, can come together and discover yoga's powerful tools and versatility in the pursuit of personal growth. Alana, Bodhi Yoga studio owner & teacher, and Jill Fuleky, a Kpjayi Level II Authorized Ashtanga Yoga Teacher, will lead the retreat.
Participants will learn from and share in several activities throughout the weekend, including:
Yoga classes, including Gentle Flow, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, & Ashtanga (Class Descriptions)
Pranayama, or the set of breathing techniques that makes up the core of every yoga practice
Introduction to Ayurvedic Diet
Lecture on the philosophy of the Yamas + Niyamas
Hiking & other outdoor activities
Vision Boarding
Sound Healing Mediation
Accommodations are provided for two nights, March 20 & March 21, with check-in time set for 6-7:00pm on Friday and checkout time currently scheduled for 12:30-1:00pm on Sunday. Meals will be provided, but each student will be responsible for his/her transportation to and from the Howell Nature Center. You can find a more detailed site map here (Lakeview Lodge).
