Aposentillo is a coastal destination in the Chinandega Department of Nicaragua, famous for its beautiful and relatively undeveloped beaches. this area is part of Nicaragua's Pacific coast, providing picturesque scenery, tranquility, and a laid-back lifestyle for visitors and locals alike.
About the location
Enjoy the perfect blend of movement, adventure, and connection on a 40-acre point reaching out into the Pacific ocean, dividing two beautiful beaches. There's magic that stems from Amaru's eden which can be found among their gardens, yoga and massage shalas, and other unique structures.
The name Amaru is a mythological double headed serpent which represents balance, transformation, and creative power. It reminds us that we can direct both our inner and outer energies with intention and purpose through observation of the elemental changes around us.
This name reflects the founders’ intention: living with purpose, aligning inner & outer energies, honoring nature.
