As part of National Recovery Month, Bodhi Yoga is partnering with Taylor Hunt's Trini Foundation to host a donation drive class here at the studio in Farmington. The Trini Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the life-changing practice of Ashtanga yoga to those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. It's our mission to provide yoga as a tool to aide in the recovery process and help those who are suffering maintain long-term sobriety.
The talented Jill Fuleky will be teaching the 90-minute session. She was recently authorized as a Kpjayi Level II Authorized Ashtanga Yoga Teacher in Mysore, India. For those unfamiliar, the Kpjayi (or Shri K Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute) is the only authority able to authorize or certify individuals to teach the ashtanga yoga method as taught by Shri K. Pattabhi Jois and R. Sharath. Both Jois and Sharath are considered the progenitors of the ashtanga practice.
A minimum donation of $10 to the Trini Foundation made in studio is all that is required to attend this special class.
You can reserve a spot in class here.
