Our bodies are designed to engage in detoxification every single day. However, from time to time, we all need a gentle nudge in the right direction so that we can all achieve a more authentic self. Perhaps we can feel the need most acutely during the changing of the seasons. Let's help usher in the Summer Solstice and invite a new positivity in our lives with this workshop designed by instructors Alana, Katie & Jay Jay.
This class will feature a combination of Yin Yoga, a practice defined by holding poses for a comparatively long time so as to work deeply into the muscles, intermittent periods of massage during the practice to enhance the effect of each pose in a new way, and all of it done while the therapeutic aromas of essential oils waft through the air. The yoga poses will stimulate your circulatory, digestive, and lymphatic systems, helping you rid your body of waste and toxins, with the massage and essential oils complementing these positive effects the practice can have on your body.
Class will start with a chance to create a oil roller of your choice of oil, courtesy of Caitlin Bockstanz. After the class concludes, you will have the option to purchase all of the oils featured in the workshop from Caitlin, as well as to inquire about additional uses and benefits of essential oils. Pre-sign up for the workshop for $35, otherwise the cost will be $40 on the day of the class (June 22).
