Yin Yoga & Gong Sound Bath CANCELLED

Holly Shay returns to host another Gong Sound Bath meditation.

The first portion of class will feature Yin Yoga, a gentle practice defined by passive, long holds in poses that apply moderate stress to connective tissues, tendons, fascia and ligaments with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility; it is also a seated practice meaning students spend the duration of the class practicing those poses that affect overall posture from the hips and spine to the neck and shoulders.
The latter half of class will consist of a Gong Sound Bath in which three gongs are skillfully played while you lie back and relax. Experience the vibrations of the gongs as you feel the stress of the day melt away. Science proves that deep tones and vibrations of the gong can increase circulation, relax the nervous system and guide you into a state of deep relaxation and bliss.

Please bring a yoga mat, cushion, blanket or even a friend to help make the experience more comfortable.
