a practice utilizing the power of our own voice as a sound healing practice. The resonance from our own voice releases tension, soothes the nervous system, & releases endorphins to elevate mood.
The workshop begins with light movement and breathwork from the practices of Kundalini Yoga to activate the physical and subtle bodies. We'll move onto the meditative practice of vocal toning guided by the shruti box,
where sustained sounds and vowels balance the main energy points of the body + open up the voice to empower our sense of expression, creativity, and self in this world.
Additionally, the act of vocalizing together in this communal setting releases oxytocin, promoting a sense of bonding, unity, & togetherness with others.
