What is Thai Bodywork?

Described as "lazy yoga," Thai bodywork is is a healing practice derived from the roots of eastern medicine, meditation, and assisted yoga-based stretching. The recipient is encouraged to remain as relaxed and pliable as possible while the giver physically maneuvers the recipient into hip openers, back bends, forward folds and shoulder openers. Movements are guided through breath, similar to a yoga practice, but will leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and aware of the body's full range of motion. Like chiropractic care, consistency is key when beginning a Thai Bodywork regimen, that is then cared for by quarterly maintenance sessions.
Physical benefits include:

  • Improved range of motion & flexibility

  • Improved circulation

  • Cellular regeneration

  • Sports injury/pain management

  • Improved sleep quality

  • Improved balance

  • Relaxation
